“Purpose plus prayer equals prosperity” Love that. Must lose sight of neither. It’s so easy to forget the prayer bit once one gathers momentum and then go on autopilot!

Hi Carey, I have been reading a book by Agnes Sanford, the American healer called “Sealed Orders”. She was the daughter of an American missionary who seriously burnt-out on the mission field. She diagnoses her father’s burn-out/breakdown as the result of trying to do the work of God without the power of the Holy Spirit. I have been finding that idea really useful…and when I tire or bore, begin to ask for “anointing,” ask for the power of the Holy Spirit, and try to work with that, rather than by will-power, discipline, and drivenness. As with all things, I succeed sometimes, and forget sometimes!
