I am so grateful for having discovered your blog through us bumping into each other over at Twitter... Your writing is like a balm, I so rarely feel understood in this world. Thank you for offering your Francesco book to followers!

As an obsessive knitter, I must comment on the infinity scarves (both the Madonnas of Promegranate and the Magnificat are quite cutting edge): I was contemplating how one might re-create them, then read your comment. And here the post-modern fashionistas thought they had invented them! Perhaps Boticelli is even more influencial than anyone knew...

I was enjoying reading your post, Anita, and went on to look at some other links including In Which I Decide to Forgive a Frenemy; For Nothing is as it Seems, from 2012. I was prompted to write down my feelings which are not specifically about this post.

PASSING THROUGH
There is someone else in the pool! She lowers herself into the water and strikes out for her first length. As I continue to swim, contrary wise, I encounter her wake (not a comment on her size) and then her perfume wafting invisibly across the ripples - aroma therapy to enhance my progress.

I read your blog, and am a bit envious of your learning about art and literature, and the places you have been, and your spiritual experiences. The ripples of your theology and politics intersect mine and there is some 'bobbing about'. I take a deep satisfied breath as I cross your wake, not in the same direction but definitely life enhancing, the perfume of your experiences blessing me as I continue on my own journey.
