I, too, have to surrender again and again certain aspects of my life – including broken dreams. Also, dreams to do with my writing and also my love of preaching. When we surrender to him, he will to give us dreams and visions which he promised through the prophet Joel to give us. And as we do surrender we find more freedom but hanging on to that freedom is oh so difficult when the world is around telling us that it’s all about me me me.

But when we make it about him first there is great freedom. “Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be given to you as well.”
