Thanks, Andy.
I truly believe that God's creativity is such that NOTHING is incapable of redemption.
It's hard to imagine how good can come out of the years we have wasted to "sin," disorganization, self-pity, depression, but I believe God can use them to bring forth something more beautiful than we could have imagined.
Perhaps they teach us our need to rely on him, and once we do so, we share a bit of his limitlessness.

Anita, I woke this morning thinking about past failures, decades ago, when there seemed to be no wisdom and no grace. So long ago that there is little I can do about it except sigh and move on. Your poem helps put it all in the perspective of today's grace. It bypasses my brain and gets to my heart. Thank you.

God’s ability to redeem mess--anything really--is my constant hope! (because I mess up so often!)

What a poignant poem. As I read it, the dreary clouds in the physical realm are blown away for the brighter atmosphere of sunshine, and I feel that happening in my soul. The truth reaches in my soul, reviving me. I have felt this theme in my writing and my life. Jesus is always with me and will never leave me nor forsake me.

Wow, that hit home! I needed to read this. My way of seeing my life's brokenness too often does not take into account God's ability to redeem it.

Anita, your writing has real power! Both in your craft and your meaning, I can sense the wells of living water within you. It's clear that Jesus has redeemed a lot of your past suffering.
