I did not grow up in a church that practiced altar calls or invitations forward for healing. Though I did not understand it, I trusted my pastor.

During prayer, I felt a jolt down one side of my body, and everything on that side went ice cold. This happened in only a few seconds of time. As the warmth returned, the pain was gone. It was amazing to not feel pain on one side.

I told pastor what had happened and he said he would keep on praying that week for full healing. The fatigue was greatly diminished over the next few weeks and one morning I awoke pain-free on the other side.

I have not had this disease return these many years. God healed me completely. There are other health issues I have now, in my 50’s, but not fibromyalgia.

I think God healed me that way to show me His power because a huge storm was about to descend on my life and my family. I needed to know to trust Him, to believe His word, and to have patience (wait for the complete healing).

I would use that lesson for the next four years of spiritual warfare. I thank God for both the lesson and the release from the disease. Thank you for letting me share.
