Forgiving is the way to release the power of love that God gives to those who are living out the life of Jesus. I’m remembering Corrie Ten Boom who was in a concentration camp during WWII. After release, she encountered one of the guards who had been unmerciful. She had a struggle in what to say to the man, but the Lord rose up in her giving her the words of forgiveness to this man who was now broken by all he had done. Forgiveness paves the way to change lives who can in turn give rather than exploit and wound others. This is wonderful, inspiring writing from this journalist, Carmel Thomason.
