When I took a spiritual gifts test many years ago before I let bitterness take over my life for a while, one of my gifts is mercy. Definitely we need to keep the thoughts positive. I was trying to explain that God doesn’t want our best, he wants our heart, and that was the problem with Cains offering, it came from a heart not totally devoted to God. I think I got it across. Maybe there is something he’s trying to tell me, I shall go and ponder. Thanks Anita, once again something you have written will cause me to think and inspect my heart.
