Judy!! God willing, I shall be so, so well-trained by Easter, and my teenagers will be with me, so I will not dare shirk!!
Also, the Haddington Leg is roughly 10 miles, whereas the Via Francigena is up to 14 a day, and hilly!
Will resume serious training on Monday!

Your comments on taking long walks (or hikes) in a contemplative way sounds very exciting and a way to delve into the creativity within my being. Communicating with the Holy Spirit, finding insights to be aligned with the Lord's will and guidance are an additional bonus to this wandering in walk. No longer becoming a "leaning tower" that becomes dangerous yet dramatic, there is stability and balance in life. I don't want to become a leaning tower that needs to be readjusted so as not be a danger to self or others. Thanks for giving me some alternatives to balance by physical exercise in the hikes, communing in silence with the Lord.

An ordinary camera, but yes, he really enjoys taking pictures. Me, I take them, but then never look at them again. So yes, he does do the images on the blog. Enjoyed Siena today!
