Yes, faith is sooo important. I just posted in your post after this about our free will. And while our decisions are truly ours and ours alone to make, our faith certainly guides us to “the better” decision. I once heard a sermon that talked about faith-shaking moments as being like when we drive for a long time. Sometimes our concentration wavers and we hit that rumble strip on the side of the road. It’s so shocking and loud that it stirs us back into concentration and re-alerts us. Like you, I have had those shocking moments of disappointment and as you state here, it is a always a good time to get that re-focus on our faith and get our eyeballs back onto the prize…God. Thank you for the reminder…faith is where it’s at!
