Thanks, LA.
Ironically, I go to a middle of the road, fairly conservative evangelical church in Oxford, St. Andrew's, and drive a few times a year to these meetings of extended, rapturous worship because they satisfy a need of my soul to worship God for long hours, forgetting everything else. I love worship, but would find it hard to sustain for long hours alone at home. I find the devotion of other people sparks my own!

You hit it perfectly! I am so glad there are different strokes for different folks cause Lord Almighty made me totally different!! One time, I got into an email exchange with Rev. Barbara Crofton over her emo post complaining about people's love of naming things with acronyms...there were acronyms for everything and it was driving her crazy. I explained to her that for geeks like me, the creation of an appropriate acronym that not only rolls well off the tongue, but also contains all the words needed to describe it (and even better, get a little onomatopoeia feel into it) is a creation as joyful to us as a painter completing a masterpiece. There is beauty in the world for everyone and an infinite number of ways to express God's gifts. What is meaningful to one may not be for another and respect of ALL ways to holiness should be respected and uplifted in our prayers. I lift you and all outpouring attendees up in prayer and pray that many find that heavenly peace in the Holy Spirit and God's Word Made Flesh.

No we haven't yet. Clint was wanting to go, but I doubt he'd make a Saturday because it's his busiest day with sermon prep. I would love to meet up there though. I'll message you on facebook :)

Thanks, Les. I guess everyone is waiting to see if it will be like the 1904 Wales Revival, or the one in the Hebrides, or Toronto. I suppose much depends on how the leaders handle "the glory" (and on God sovereign pleasure). Here's a round-up of everyone's blog post and report on the Outpouring
