I pray it is so. Today I had to put my precious Riley down. I have to trust God, He will unite me with him again. I take comfort in Isaiah 65 and Isaiah 6:11. When I held him in my arms today, I felt God whispering to me “Jackie, dont’ worry, he’s in heaven”. Real or imagined, it brought me great comfort. Years ago, my Pastor told me that if I think of my pet in heaven, God will give him to me because he wants me to be happy. The tough part now, is he in heaven or do I have to wait until I am in heaven. Probably foolish questions to ponder on – likely am doing so in my deep grief. Like some of the others posted, He knows how much we love our pets and He keeps His eye on the sparrow, we just need to trust He understands our grief and He grieves with us – so I pray our beloved pets are there waiting for us when we come home. So – keep on believing in Jesus and when we get to heaven we’ll find out. He meets our every need and He knows our need is to be with our pets again. I am sure animals will be in heaven and I am certain they too will honor and love our great Creator! Praise be to God! I am so thankful Jesus died for us on the cross so we can have eternal life and heaven is our reward – that includes giving us our beloved pets again. Amen!

They have no souls and so do not need ‘saving’ ergo (surely) they will be a part of the creation rebirth – the new Heaven and the new Earth. Done deal.
