I guess that’s the C.S. Lewis idea I was researching yesterday. That our wonderful experiences are tasters, and not designed to satisfy us entirely. They are just glimpses of complete beauty and joy, and instill in us a yearning for them–a yearning which will be satisfied in God.

Most everywhere I go, I wish I could go home! Each event, I wish it were over, a few moments in to it. But, I do sit and dream about those far off places I’ve been. I love the idea that this restlessness is possibly from God, rather than just laziness or avoidance.
