Chaplain Mike's stuff is amazing to read. The discussion portion after the post can get pretty deep, theologically-speaking with folks sometimes squaring off (always very respectfully) over such things as 5-point Arminianism and relationship to Calvanism, etc. As a lifelong learner, I love this stuff, but like to follow a variety of blogs in order to gain a fuller spiritual experience.

What's the American blog? Several of my favourite blogs are American. There is a definite difference between British and American blogs. I've lived in the US for 17 years and in the UK for 11, so I feel mid-Atlantic, equally at home with Brits and Americans.

I can't read huge, deep books, I fall asleep reading GK Chesterton and Bonhoffer…so this is the third leg of my study/action/pray stool. I stumbled upon you off of Beaker Folk's blog and I'm so glad I did. You're wonderful to read. The American one is super, super challenging and Beaker Folk are just plain fun, MadPriest keeps me entertained and informed and you are delightful and wonderful!
