My favourite place for walks is Dartmoor in Devon , I love the bleakness and isololation almost a wilderness walk , nobody else around but God.

This will vary according to our temperamental type and life circumstances.

Everything in the spiritual life happens slowly, as a general rule, so I guess we need to be patient with ourselves as we grow, baby step by baby step!

If you're centered on a false self — like those jockeying for power and status — then you're not really centered at all. “Love your neighbor as yourself” means self-love — being your true self — is a high standard and not a low one.
