I drafted it in the airport on my iPad, while waiting for hotel coupons. And so, yes, very rambly. My husband complained it was really 3 posts and he was right, but I chose to go on to write the next post rather than revise this one.

Oh that's rough, Sarah. I can imagine your anxiety. I pray you find a buyer soon.

Perhaps thanking God and praising God for whatever is good in the situation (as Ann Voskamp suggests in her blog A Holy Experience) might change your thinking and feelings about the situation? Perhaps God knows when you will be up to a move, and the best time to move--perhaps when a perfect home for you shows up elsewhere.

You've reminded me again to ask God from my true desire – a buyer for my house. I know in the current economic climate it will only sell with a miracle and months ago left it in God's hands but now I whinge about the situation far more than I pray.
He really does have the best in store for us…I needed telling again what I already know – to just ask Him!
