Thanks much. Yes, despite “churts” church hurts which all of us suffer (some more than others as our rough edges are smoothed off) the acceptance of those who are different offered in church settings, the open houses offered by small groups, the sympathy and prayer offered, the sudden window in the ministries offered and for free, the sudden window into heaven on Sunday mornings–the church is indeed unique and beautiful!

Amen and amen. I love those adjectives you use to describe the Church – beautiful, broken, unbowed. I think often even Christians do not understand the importance of the local church as a truly powerful agent for change.
