I guess Moses was given the opportunity of having his heart's desire but without God's presence.
I think if it was put like that, I would choose God's presence, because I would not otherwise be able to “do life”, or cope with my heart's desire.

It has made me consider just how much I want certain things to happen, or to arrive at certain places. Do I want this more than I want to be in the presence of God? Easy to say of course not – but in reality? Perhaps the answer is not so clear. Without doubt I want to be in God's presence. But I also want the other things. I pray though that their attraction will never become greater to me than simply being with God. It is certainly something to keep asking. 🙂
