My Other Half is happy to be included, as long as I don't nag! I like crossing things off – it makes me feel good. But like Nancy suggest, you need time in amongst the lists for you.

Time with God, for instance, is important but not urgent, and can get squeezed out.
In theory, if one does important things each day, one will rarely have too many urgent things (must be done today type of things).

However, we are both self-employed now, Roy having taken voluntary redundancy last year, so have fewer really urgent things–but, paradoxically, since we're generating our own monthly income, it's more important to get organized.
I'm no expert, of course. We are striving to get organized and efficient because these are not our natural strengths!

Should some time be ring-fenced daily for 'important' things so these are not left until all the urgent things are done and you are tired?
